Abbott’s premier immunology analyzer The Architect ci 1000 is the new automated system being installed in the Centre for Virology from 14/10/2019. The immunology analyzer has been announced as the winner of the Scientists’ Choice Award for Best New Clinical Instrumentation of 2019, the immunoassay analyzer meets your laboratory’s high standards by delivering STAT results when you need them. The flexible protocols built into the ARCHITECT i1000SR enhance laboratory workflow and allow you to report results with confidence.

The analyzer can process up to 100 tests per hour, accommodating 65 patient samples, the company said. It also can prioritize emergency test results and provide results in less than 16 minutes. 

With this new system, we are enhancing our reporting timing at 5 in a day.
